Cohort-based Mentoring

We need our mentors to be committed and desire to see their students through graduation. Two years is a minimum.

Many public school mentoring programs pair an adult with a student who signs up for a one-on-one meeting after school. They often don’t last more than a year. We want to change that.

We want to be during school, with good food, with a small group of about 4 students (cohorts), and with fun and engaging content and discussion led by two trained mentors.

Students can learn just as much from each other as they do from their mentors. That’s why we want our cohorts to be diverse, with a variety of extracurricular interests, academic progress, and career aspirations.

We have two female mentors ready to mentor a Sophomore Cohort at Richards High and they will begin in the Spring of 2024.
